Why Yetti? I get asked this question quite often and the answer is simple; because it stuck. But truly, it is more than that.

“The Yeti” was a nickname that caught on when I was 15 years old, standing over 6 feet tall with a full beard. Despite being two years younger than him, my older brother, Bryce, had started calling me “Sasquatch” due to my height and huge feet. This name quickly caught on, and spread like wildfire among my family and friends. The nickname was altered to “The Yetti” on my 18th birthday when my parents gave me the vanity license plate THEYETTI. It had to have two T’s because any plate with YETI was already taken. Like me, Yetti is unique and fits me to a T.
